STRIP COLLATED PINS ASM-144
STRIP COLLATED PINS ASM-144 PINS The smooth shank ASM-144 series pins are commonly used to fasten to concrete or masonry substrates. Hardwood flooring installers use these pins to attach plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) underlayment or wood furring strips to concrete. Siding contractors use these pins to attach fiber cement siding to concrete or masonry walls. Pin length should be selected such that the pin penetrates at least 3/4" into the concrete or masonry. Pins are supplied collated with tape (25 pins/strip) or plastic (30 pins/strip) media for use in the Aerico® 90 tool. See ICC Reports ESR-2290 for design values for attaching James Hardie fiber cement siding to masonry.
